The SDMA school board took a HARD LEFT last Tuesday with the election of three strong liberals. Below is some information gathered before the election. This is a chart I made with wording selected and approved by Abe Smith and the three conservative candidates.
“DEI” stands for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
If you still need a reason to “book it out of Dodge,” here is a very interesting twitter thread about the purpose of CRT (DEI,) “Queer Theory” and a gender plan (like we have in the SDMA)* that allows schools to not tell the parents if their children are presenting themselves as a different gender at school than at home.
*”Parents - It is vital to the success of a child’s transition to have parental support. Creating a positive relationship between district and parents is of the utmost importance. As primary caregivers and guardians, parents will be included in a student’s transition as often as possible. When students are not “openly out” to their parents, staff WILL work with the student to provide them opportunities and support for talking through that topic with their family. Parents who do not support their child’s transition will still be encouraged to assist in the transitional process by counseling staff, but their participation is not required.”

I casually asked Dr. Zydowsky, the SDMA Superintendent, recently, if it was his job to protect the innocence of the SDMA children. He thought it was not. He explained that children are exposed to all kinds of things on their phones, through their friends, etc.
The school board is not going to protect the innocence of the children. The parents must take responsibility, one way or another, for this.
https://ruralvirtual.org - This looks like an example of an interesting public virtual school that you could probably attend for free but would need to request a school district change before the 21st. That is next week!
Very good thank you, for bringing awareness to all of us who need to get involved. Carry on you're doing a great job Joyce.
